Dorrans set to return for West Brom in relegation battle

Graham Dorrans is likely to return to action for West Bromwich Albion when they meet West Ham United in a potential relegation battle on Saturday.

The Scottish midfielder has been out since mid January with an ankle injury but is confident he will get up for the visit of the bottom-placed Hammers.

"I've been in full training over the last couple of days and the ankle feels much better," Dorrans said.

"It was frustrating because I missed some big games. It wasn't nice watching from the stand but I suppose you can't go into games if you're not fully fit - it doesn't do anyone justice.

"But I'm fit now and hopefully I can get back into the team for Saturday.

"A lot of people when they're injured just want to get back playing and maybe in the past I've come back into training a little bit early.

"I did it again and it set me back. I just needed to work harder and get it stronger - and I think I've done that now."
