Mark Donnelly has joined QPR.

The Daily Mail says QPR, whose heavy spending needs bringing under control, have appointed Donnelly, who was the FA's chief finance officer, as their chief operating officer.

This is another blow to FA general secretary Alex Horne, who loses his chairman David Bernstein in May.
