DONE DEAL? West Ham agree deal for Bayer Leverkusen striker Hernandez

West Ham United have agreed terms with Bayer Leverkusen over the transfer of Javier Hernandez.

Hammers boss Slaven Bilic has expressed his desire to boost his attacking options this summer, ideally with players with Premier League experience.

The Mexican forward, who has a £13m release clause, certainly fits the bill, having become a much-beloved figure during his five-year stint with Manchester United between 2010 and 2015.

West Ham have released a statement regarding the transfer and confirmed the 28-year old will be in the London "in the coming days" to undergo a medical and agree personal terms.

'Chicarito' - as he is known - has been prolific since joining Bayer Leverkusen in 2015, having scored 39 goals in 76 matches.
