Thierry Ambrose has cut ties with Manchester City.
Ambrose has left Manchester City for Metz on a permanent deal, according to Get French Football News.
With football in France being brought to an end, Ligue 1 side Metz - who were battling against relegation - have now confirmed their safety.
Ambrose - who spent the season on loan with Metz - had a clause in his contract stating he would join the club on a permanent basis should they maintain their Ligue 1 status.
Metz will now pay City €2million (£1.5million) plus bonuses.
