Released Manchester United defender Di'Shon Bernard has joined Sheffield Wednesday.

Bernard passed his medical yesterday and moves to Hillsborough on a free transfer.

The former Chelsea junior, 22, made one appearance for United and has had loan spells with Salford City, Hull City and Portsmouth.

Bernard also helped Jamaica reach the CONCACAF Gold Cup semi-finals earlier this summer.
