Sevilla have signed permanently West Ham United striker Javier Hernandez.

Chicharito arrives for a fee of €7.75m, signing a deal with Sevilla to 2022.

"I have only seen positive things. This is a blessed opportunity that is being given to me. I know the importance of representing this shield, this club. What a pity that the international recess is coming, I would like to be with the team to start training," said the striker.

"I am very clear of the demands, to give the best version both personally and professionally.

"I am going to do my best to make this stage as good as possible and demonstrate on the pitch that I have a great ambition to do things well. I want to train with my teammates and jump onto the grass of Sanchez-Pizjuan. I am well, I'm fine. I have returned to the national team, although as you know in my position, there are times that you live on streaks.

"I'm going to adapt to what is asked of me. The longer I am on the pitch, the better for me."
