Sergi Samper has left Barcelona to sign for Vissel Kobe.
The Spanish midfielder is signing for the Japanese club to join his fellow countrymen Andres Iniesta and David Villa.
Samper is joining on a four-year contract, continuing the Spanish revolution going on at the Kobe Universiade Memorial Stadium.
At 24 years of age, Samper has played just six matches with the senior team in Barcelona, despite making his debut all the way back in 2014/15 season.
A series of loan spells and injuries have totally curtailed his progress, and the feeling of all involved is that a change of scenery will do the player the world of good.
