Sassuolo have signed Inter Milan striker Andrea Pinamonti.

The Italy international joins on-loan with an option to buy, though that will be a formality after Pinamonti signed a long-term deal with Sassuolo. The striker spent last season on-loan with Empoli.

The club announced:

"US Sassuolo Calcio announces that it has completed the following transfer market operation: Andrea Pinamonti (born in 1999, forward), acquired by way of a loan with obligation to buy from Inter.

"The attacker has signed a contract that binds him to the neroverdi until June 30, 2027."
