DONE DEAL: Released Liverpool defender Connor Randall joins Arda Kardzhali

Released Liverpool defender Connor Randall has joined Bulgarian outfit Arda Kardzhali.

Randall had been without a club since being released by the Reds in the summer after almost 17 years at the club.

The 23-year-old has this week signed a two-year deal with Arda Kardzhali, who last season won promotion to Bulgaria's top flight for the first time in their history.

Randall had been at Liverpool's Academy since the age of six and, after a loan spell at Shrewsbury, was handed his senior debut by Jurgen Klopp in the League Cup win over Bournemouth in October 2015, says the Liverpool Echo.

The right-back went on to make a total of eight appearances for Liverpool, although his last was in the FA Cup fourth round home defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers in January 2017.
