Porto have signed Barcelona midfielder Nico Gonzalez.

Nico moves to Porto for €8.5m, signing a deal for five seasons, until 2028.

Nico spent last season on loan with Valencia, though his spell was injury-plagued throughout the campaign.

Barca would've preferred a loan arrangement, but their financial situation meant an outright sale was agreed.

The Catalans will also retain a buy-back option worth €30m.
