Former Bournemouth defender Chris Francis has signed with Crystal Palace.

Francis moves to Palace on a free transfer, having trialled in preseason with Sheffield United.

He told the club's website: “It's been good [moving to south London].

“It's still early days. I moved down late last week and I started off with one-to-one sessions, as both teams were away on tour, but I've also had some sessions now with the boys and I've been enjoying my time here so far.

"Everyone's welcoming and it's been good so far."
