NAC Breda have snapped up Manchester City midfielder James Horsfield.

The 21 year-old has joined NAC on-loan to the end of this season.

Hans Smulders, NAC's technical director, declared: "With his 21 years, James is one of the most experienced players in the youth team of City.

"During the training camp in the winter we noticed that he fit in well in the group games and added value to us. In addition, he with his experience can also play a role in the development of the other younger players from Manchester City.

"We are therefore pleased that he plays for NAC over the next six months."
