DONE DEAL: Monza announce signing of Juventus goalkeeper Stefano Gori

Monza have announced the signing of Juventus goalkeeper Stefano Gori.

Gori joins Monza on a season-long loan with an option to buy. He will replace Alessio Cragno as Monza's second-choice keeper.

Monza announced: "Stefano Gori is a new Monza player. The goalkeeper arrives from Juventus on a temporary basis until the 30th June 2024, with the right of redemption.

"Born in Brescia on 9 March 1996, he grew up in his city's team, where he stood out by catching the attention of Milan , who bought him in 2014. In the Rossoneri he shone with the Primavera, becoming the third goalkeeper of the First Team in the season 2014-15. His debut among professionals took place with the Bari shirt, in the Serie B match against Spal on 18 May 2017. After the experience with Pro Piacenza in Serie C, in the summer of 2018 he began his adventure in Pisa, where he immediately became a starter and won promotion to Serie B as a protagonist, becoming a specialist in saving penalties.

"His performances with the Tuscans earned him a call from Juventus, who bought him in June 2020. In January 2021 he returned on loan to Pisa, where he played another great championship, touching the promotion to Serie A. In the last two seasons he wore the shirts of Como and Perugia, reaching 107 appearances in Serie B, before returning to Juventus, from where he now arrives at Monza."
