Arsenal have confirmed that Ryo Miyaichi has joined German club FC St Pauli.
The Japanese winger has been released by the Gunners following the expiration of his contract and has now made the move to 2.Bundeslia outfit St Pauli who are based in Hamburg.
Miyaichi, 22, joined Arsenal in 2011 and made seven senior appearances for the north London club. During his time with the Gunners, he enjoyed loan spells with Feyenoord, Bolton Wanderers, Wigan Athletic and FC Twente.
