Middlesbrough have completed the signing of Patrick Bamford from Chelsea.
The 23-year-old has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with the Teesside club for an undisclosed fee.
Bamford returns to the Riverside Stadium having spent the 2014/15 season on loan with Boro, when he scored 19 goals and was named the SkyBet Championship Player of the Year.
The former Nottingham Forest youngster has now departed Chelsea permanently after experiencing loan spells with MK Dons, Derby County, Boro, Crystal Palace, Norwich City and Burnley since 2012.
Bamford follows Rudy Gestede as Aitor Karanka's second signing of the winter transfer window.
Absolutely over the moon to be back! Looking forward to helping this great club in every way I can. #boro#utb
