DONE DEAL: Melvin Sitti excited to make Norwich move

Melvin Sitti is delighted with his move to Norwich City.

The midfielder put pen-to-paper on a four-year deal on Tuesday and instantly rejoined former club FC Sochaux- on loan until the end of the season.

Sitti says he watched the Canaries' 1-0 victory over AFC Bournemouth on January 18 and was impressed with the team's philosophy.

“We went to the Bournemouth game and we saw how the team played on the pitch," he said to canaries.co.uk. “The way they played made me want to come here.

"I'm a midfield player in the number eight [position]. But I can sometimes play in the number six [role]. I'm here to help the team to move the ball and I hope I can improve the team.

“It's always been a dream for me to come and play in England. I'm glad that I'm going to achieve my goal.

“It's the beginning and I hope I'm going to do well and grow up in England.

“The people in Norwich have been very nice, I feel like I'm part of the family. The facilities are very professional."

Another reason behind Sitti's decision was the vibe he received from the people he met at the club.

“The people in Norwich have been very nice, I feel like I'm part of the family. The facilities are very professional.

“It's a family club and I like that a lot. It also helped that they give young players a chance here.

“I know that there's no pressure on young players here. I hope I can succeed here."
