Manchester City have sold Ruben Sobrino to Alaves.

City and Alaves have formally announced the deal over the young Spanish striker. He spent last season on-loan at Alaves, scoring three goals in 16 games.

Sobrino's fee is undisclosed, with the forward agreeing to a four-year contract.

The 25 year-old forward was signed by City from Ponferradina, but never managed an appearance for the English giants.

Along with Alaves, Sobrino also had a spell on-loan with Girona.
