Manchester City are raiding Vincent Kompany's Anderlecht for a young academy prospect.
Het Laatse Nieuws reports City are in advanced talks to sign 16 year-old Romeo Lavia.
The midfielder is regarded among the best young players for his age in Belgium and was also interesting Liverpool and Manchester United.
However, it appears City have won the race for his signature.
After months of attempts, Anderlecht have failed to agree new terms with Lavia, leaving him to join City as a free agent at the end of the month.
