Manchester City are closing on a deal for Gremio midfielder Diego Rosa.

Globo Esporte says the move is now '99 per cent' complete with the 17 year-old ready to sign for the Sky Blues.

In a bonus stacked deal, City will pay a fee rising to €24m for Rosa, burning off competition from Juventus in the process.

Part of the deal will see a €12m bonus due to Gremio once Rosa is registered as a Premier League player and another €3m due once he completes ten first team games.

City are expected to loan Rosa to a European partner next season, with Lommel or Girona the likely destinations.
