Leicester City defender Josh Knight has signed a new deal until 2021 and will join Peterborough United on loan to the end of the season.
The imposing centre-half has impressed in Premier League 2 this season winning December's Player of the Month award – an honour he was also nominated for in November after a fine run of form.
Knight made his debut for Leicester City's First Team in a 4-1 win over Sheffield United in the Carabao Cup in August 2017 and was part of City's Under-21s group that won the Hong Kong Soccer Sevens tournament that same year.
He will now continue his development with League 1 side Peterborough United, who take on Plymouth Argyle at London Road on Saturday.
