DONE DEAL: Leicester defender Benalouane joins Nottingham Forest

Leicester City defender Yohan Benalouane has signed for Nottingham Forest.

The Championship side, who recently appointed Martin O'Neill as their new manager, have signed the 31-year-old on an 18-month deal.

Benalouane has been at Leicester since 2015, but he only played 16 Premier League games for the club in that time.

The Tunisian was signed quickly by O'Neill because Forest are struggling with injuries and suspensions in defense.

He will slot straight into the team, given the likes of Michael Dawson, Michael Hefele, Danny Fox and Tendayi Darikwa are all unavailable for Forest.
