Lazio have announced the signing of Real Madrid defender Mario Gila.

The youngster passed his medical on Tuesday and formally signed terms with the Romans.

Lazio announced: "S.S. Lazio informs that it has definitively acquired the right to the sports performance of the footballer Mario Gila Fuentes from the Spanish club F.C. Real Madrid."

It's understood Lazio have paid €6m for 21 year-old centre-half.
