Aston Villa have announced that Jacob Ramsey has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with the club.

He has also joined League One side Doncaster Rovers on loan until the end of the season.

The 18-year old academy product made his first team debut last February, stepping off the bench against West Bromwich Albion.

A regular for the Under-23 side, the midfielder has made two appearances from the bench for the senior side this term, against Brighton in the Carabao Cup and against Fulham in the FA Cup.
