Ajax have announced the signing of West Ham United striker Sebastien Haller.

Haller moves to Ajax for a fee of €22.5m and has signed a contract to 2025.

"This is a club where you can show yourself, where you can play in the Champions League and compete for the title every season. That winning mentality fits perfectly with a striker like me," Haller said.

"Moreover, I had a good time in the Netherlands. My daughter was born here.

"To be honest, this has been going on for a few months. I have always kept in touch with the trainer (Erik ten Hag). We spoke because we had a good relationship in Utrecht. When I knew that an agreement was reached, I was happy."
