DONE DEAL: Fulham defender Ibane Bowat moves to Austria's TSV Hartberg

Fulham defender Ibane Bowat has moved to Austria's TSV Hartberg on a season-long loan.

The 20 year-old has signed a new deal to 2025, with an option to extend by a further 12 months.

“I'm delighted to sign a new contract and extend my time with Fulham," Bowat told the club's website. “I feel I'm developing well as a footballer, and the staff in the Academy and First Team have been excellent with me.

“Last season was a big step for me going to the Netherlands on loan and getting experience playing men's football, so it was important I continue to play senior football this season. Going on loan to TSV Hartberg in Austria will mean I'll be playing top flight football in Europe, against big teams, and it's an opportunity I didn't want to miss.

“They have a great setup, and playing under Markus Schopp, along with his coaching staff, was very appealing to me, so I'm keen to get started and taking part in their pre-season games."
