FC Groningen have signed Brentford defender Mads Bech.

The Dane moves to Groningen on-loan to the end of this season.

This month, the 24-year-old Beck was recalled from a disappointing loan spell with Nice, where the Dane did not play a single game.

Groningen chief Mark-Jan Fledderus said: "Mads is a big, physically strong centre-back.

"He has trained and played football at a high level in recent seasons and therefore brings the necessary experience with him."
