Elche have signed permanently winger Lucas Boye.

The Argentine has been on-loan from Torino this season and done enough to win an outright deal.

Despite their relegation battle, Elche were happy to take up Boye's permanent option.

Elche's owner Christian Bragarnik explained: "Due to our financial situation, we can afford to keep a player like him.

"He is happy here and our idea is to improve day by day."
