Former Roma striker Edin Dzeko is delighted joining Roma.

Dzeko has signed a deal with Inter to 2023.

He willl be coached by Simone Inzaghi after facing him as an opponent in the Rome derby on numerous occasions.

“I spoke to him and we joked about it," said Dzeko. "He said, 'At last we're not on opposite sides!' We've gone up against each others many times and I'm happy to work with him because he showed what he's capable of at Lazio. I'm looking forward to training with him."

The striker also gets to link up again with his friend and former team-mate Aleksandar Kolarov.

“I spoke to him too. It looks like we're destined to be together after Manchester City and Roma. He's a smashing lad and a superb player. I'm glad I'll get to play with him again.

“I've only just arrived but I know Inter have a team full of stars. I'm sure we'll enjoy ourselves and the fans will too. A big hello to all of them. I'll give my all for this club."
