Celta Vigo are selling Orbelín Pineda to AEK Athens.

Mexico international is moving to AEK for a mooted £5.5m after spending last season with the Greek giants on-loan.

Pineda, 27, has committed to AEK to 2027, with the deal approved by new Celta coach Rafa Benitez.

Pineda won the league and cup double and was named MVP. His great season has made him the most expensive signing in AEK's history.
