Cardiff City have signed Arsenal goalkeeper Alex Rúnarsson.

Runarsson joins the Bluebirds on a season-long loan.

The goalkeeper has been loaned to Oud-Heverlee Leuven and Alanyaspor.

Now Cardiff have taken Runarsson on-loan and he said: "I am very happy that the transfer is complete. It took some time, but I'm happy to be here.

"The club contacted my agent and said they wanted to sign me, I know it's a big club and it piqued my interest straight away."
