DONE DEAL: Brighton midfielder Tudor Baluta moves to Dynamo Kiev

Brighton midfielder Tudor Baluta has joined Ukrainian cup holders Dynamo Kiev on loan for the season.

The 21-year-old will also have the prospect of playing Champions League football this season, after league runners-up Kiev clinched a place in the group stages of the competition.

Technical director Dan Ashworth told the club's website, “This move is a great opportunity for Tudor and one which is good for all parties.

“Having broken into the national team with Romania, Tudor is keen to play regular football at a good standard.

“This move gives him the chance to do that, while also continuing his development in the top division of the Ukrainian domestic league, and potentially playing in the Champions League.

“As with all our loans, our team will watch Tudor's progress closely and we wish him all the best for the season ahead."
