Brighton fullback Ezequiel Schelotto has completed his move to Chievo Verona.

Former Inter Milan midfielder Schelotto has joined Chievo on loan until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old joined Brighton from Sporting CP in the summer of 2017 and made 20 Premier League appearances last season.

However, he has not played at all for the English side in 2018-19 and joins the Serie A team he most recently turned out for.

Brighton boss Chris Hughton said, “Ezequiel has found opportunities limited so far this season, but he's continued to train well every day.

“We have strong competition in the full-back areas and this move gives him the chance to play regularly in Italy's top division, which is a league he knows well.

“We wish him all the very best for the remainder of this campaign."
