Brentford have snapped up Hibs striker Ethan Laidlaw.

The 18 year-old has penned a two-year contract with the Bees.

Brentford B coach coach Neil MacFarlane told the club's website: “I think Ethan is a really good prospect. He has some good attributes that we feel we can develop and work on with him during his time with us.

“We've been looking to add to that area within our B team and he's come in on trial and really impressed the staff.

"He can play on the shoulder as a striker, and he has a really good work ethic. We'll continue to add to his game and we look forward to watching his development with us."
