Brentford have signed 17 year-old defender Byron Wilson.

The defender has signed a two-year contract with an option of an additional year.

Byron has been training with the young Bees in recent weeks and featured for the side during matches with Crewe Alexandra and Hearts and he will add further options to Neil MacFarlane's squad.

The young defender came through the ranks with Coventry City and featured for their Under-18 side during the 2021/22 season.

He departed Coventry in the summer and has impressed in training and in matches with young Bees, often operating as a full back.
