Bologna midfielder Saphir Taider has joined Montreal Impact.
Taider goes to MLS as Blerim Dzemaili moves in the opposite direction.
The two clubs are run by Joey Saputo, so regularly exchange players on loan.
“It's basically done, we have to wait for the documentation from the League, but Taider is essentially our player to all effects," technical director Adam Braz told the official MLS club's website.
Taider turns 26 next month and has spent most of his career in Italy, first joining Bologna from Grenoble in 2011.
