Atletico Madrid have swooped for AS Monaco winger Yannick Ferreira Carrasco on a five-year deal.
The 21-year-old Belgium international, who helped Monaco reach the Champions League quarter-finals last season, fills the void in Diego Simeone's side left by Arda Turan, who joined Barcelona in a 34million Euros deal on Monday.
"Atletico Madrid and AS Monaco have reached an agreement for the transfer of the Belgian midfielder Yannick Carrasco. He will play in our team for five seasons," a statement on Atleti's official website read.
Carrasco, who scored eight goals in 48 appearances for Monaco last season, put pen to paper on a deal tying him to the Vicente Calderon until the summer of 2019 after passing a medical on Thursday.
