Doncaster have completed the signing of Scottish trialist Gordon Greer on a two-year contract after he impressed during a spell on trial.

The 26-year-old defender turned down a new contract offer with Kilmarnock.

Greer, who started his career with Clyde, has spent the last three seasons at Rugby Park after spells with Blackburn and Stockport.

But he married in the summer and his English wife preferred him to move back down south.
