Watford goalkeeper Pontus Dahlberg feels valued by the club.

Currently on-loan with Doncaster Rovers, Dahlberg signed a new deal with Watford to 2025.

"Watford is not the best at making things official. I extended my contract this summer until 2025," Dahlberg told Fotbollskanalen.

"They were very careful to extend my contract if I went out on loan. Then they had to show up and extend it, but they were also very careful that I would and showed that they believe in me as a future number one.

"I thought it sounded good and it also worked out well with Doncaster. It is of course a good receipt when you have done something good and that they see the potential that can be there."
