Sacked Napoli coach Roberto Donadoni has slammed president Aurelio de Laurentiis.

Asked to describe what kind of a person De Laurentiis is, Donadoni replied: "A volcano. Someone who knows very little about our world. He has to learn a lot. He spends too little time living the dressing room atmosphere."

When confronted with the fact that De Laurentiis has actually made a habit of storming into the dressing room, Donadoni replied: "Yes, but apart from recently, he didn't introduce himself before.

"I also appreciated him as a splendid person. Our conversation yesterday was very civil. I don't know what to say. I can assure you I knew both sides of his character.

"I said to him that if he were to ask me three questions about cinema I wouldn't know how to respond and vice versa if I were to pose him three on football.

"I underlined it to him without spite because I am not rancorous, in full respect of him."
