West Bromwich Albion skipper Darren Fletcher was left disappointed following Scotland's failure to make the Euro2016 qualifying play-offs.
Scotland conceded a last minute equaliser against Poland having led the game 2-1 at Hampden Park.
The 2-2 draw, combined with Republic of Ireland's shock victory against Germany, finished any hopes Scotland had of making the top three in their group and subsequently securing a place in next summer's finals in France.
Fletcher said on Sky Sports 2: "It's been a disappointing night after how well we played.
"When you lose a goal like that late on it's a real low blow to everyone in the dressing room
"We felt we were making a lot of progress, but ultimately we failed to do what we set out to do or even make the play-offs."
