Diouf wants Blackburn players to become fearless

Blackburn's El Hadji Diouf wants his teammates to become fearless as the side continues to hover around the relegation zone.

The Senegalese forward believes the team need to change their mentality if they are to remain in the top flight.

"I think we are scared a little bit when we play at home or we just want to score quick or we are not confident - I don't understand that," he told Rovers World.

"We need to get rid of that quickly because we need to play well at home and not think about anything other than a winning mentality.

"We know the gaffer has a winning mentality so we have to follow him, just keep working hard in training, come back against Tottenham (next time out) and get three points.

"We have a lot of good players and a good team and we need to believe in ourselves."
