Dier feels responsible for Tuchel's planned Bayern Munich departure

Eric Dier says he feels responsible for Thomas Tuchel's planned departure as Bayern Munich coach.

Tuchel will leave at the end of the season.

Dier, who has signed permanently from Tottenham, told Kicker: “The results weren't right, then came the announcement of Thomas Tuchel's departure in the summer. If he has to leave and I'm his player, I should feel at least some responsibility."

Dier also spoke about potential parallels between the Bundesliga and the Premier League.

“When I look at the leagues, Germany and England are very similar. The atmosphere is different, but always great. The stadiums are full, people are excited about football. In any case, I love being here at this club," he says.

He adds: “I totally identify with the values, the culture and the philosophy of this club. I think I fit in very well here. I feel incredibly comfortable."
