Diego Costa, Courtois ready to commit to Chelsea

Diego Costa and Thibaut Courtois are ready to sign new deals with Chelsea.

The Telegraph is reporting that the key Blues pair are set to commit to the cause to stay under Antonio Conte following his renaissance at Stamford Bridge.

Brazilian-born Spanish striker Costa has constantly been linked with a return to former club Atletico Madrid ever since joining Chelsea but is enjoying a stellar campaign so far with 10 goals in 12 matches and is ready to put pen to an extension.

Belgian goalkeeper Courtois has been the subject of interest from Real Madrid but reportedly has no plans to depart West London anytime soon.

Both Costa and Courtois are contracted with Chelsea until 2019 but it is understood that negotiations regarding new contracts will begin in the New Year.

A new deal for 28-year-old Costa could land him around £200,000 per week while 24-year-old Courtois will go from £100,000 to £150,000-a-week if he signs a new long-term agreement.
