West Ham United legend Julian Dicks has slammed the club's underperforming players.
Dicks is convinced the players aren't giving 100 per cent.
"Their style of play isn't as bad as people make out," Dicks told talkSPORT. "It isn't the great brand of football the West Ham fans are accustomed to but, for me, the players don't work hard enough.
"When you're struggling, first and foremost, you have to work hard.
"Some players, ability-wise, are better than others. We can appreciate that. And we all appreciate that people can have bad games and make mistakes. But there is no excuse for not working hard for 90 minutes.
"It's not about running around like a headless chicken. It's about closing people down and putting them under pressure but if you've got only two or three doing it then it's no good. Every single one of them has to do it."
