Abou Diaby completed 45 minutes for Arsenal U21s in defeat to Chelsea.
The Frenchman looked tidy in the early stages of the game before fading towards the end of the first half.
Diaby has not pulled on a Gunners shirt since he started the 2-0 win at Swansea City on March 16, 2013.
