Bologna striker Marco Di Vaio has expressed his interest in again representing the Italian national team.
It has been four years since the former Juventus star played for the Azzurri and some good recent form with Bologna could see him in the mix.
"Dreaming about the Azzurri doesn't cost anything, but I know that I will have to improve and impress for Bologna," Di Vaio told Tuttosport.
"The Italy jersey is splendid and it would be the greatest thing for me to wear it again.
"I'm on great form, but I feel important at this club and that allows me to do my best.
"The Coach and the rest of the players here are also helping me to show my full potential.
"I think that Bologna can do well this season and we have enough quality to escape the relegation zone."
