Di Canio pleads with Swindon fans to be more positive

Swindon boss Paolo di Canio has asked the club's fans to be more positive at games. It comes after a section of supporters booed the Italian's decision to replace Alan Connell with Paul Benson during Swindon's goalless League Two draw with Bristol Rovers at the weekend.

"There's stupid and silly booing for no reason," he told BBC Wiltshire.

"Even if they think I'm wrong (they should) clap the player who goes on.

"If we don't go up at the end of the season then they can criticise," he added.
