Joe Hart's confidence "is shot" after being dropped by Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini for today's game with Norwich City.
It is the first time Hart has been dropped since he established himself as City's No.1 and was said to be inconsolable last night at the team hotel, says the Daily Star.
A City source revealed: "He's not been expecting this, but his confidence is shot and he's been quiet and subdued at the training ground.
"That's not normally like Joe. He's normally one of the jokers in and around the squad.
"But he knows he faces a fight to repair his reputation and he's taken this badly."
