Dorian Dervite is delighted to be kicking off his comeback next week at Tottenham.
The defender has been missing since January and he told the Spurs website: "On Monday I will start a programme of one day training then one day off and hopefully I will soon get better and stronger.
"It is not completely perfect, I will have to continue working in the gym to make my knee stronger and hopefully in a couple of weeks it will be perfect.
"I've had good very good rehab here and I've worked hard so I think I am getting the reward for that," added Dervite, before going on to admit there will be a few nerves when he takes to the training pitches again.
"I am excited but also a little nervous about the first contact work, but the confidence for that will come in time. I am not sure when I will be ready to play, but hopefully it will be soon - we'll see."
