Derby return on for Tottenham's Huddlestone

Derby County want to bring Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone back to Pride Park.

The Sun says Rams boss Billy Davies plans a big shake-up of his struggling team and wants Huddlestone, 20, back at Pride Park.

Huddlestone came through at Derby before a £2.5million move to Spurs two years ago.

But the England Under-21 midfielder has failed to win a regular place and his prospects look bleaker with the departure of manager Martin Jol and arrival of Juande Ramos.

Davies is ready to offer Spurs £4m. He wants more bite in the middle of the park and believes the powerful Huddlestone fits the bill.
